PARENTING

As a grandparent, and parent, in days when schools do not necessarily have time or money for curriculum, changes etc. It is very important to get behind nature. Either at after school clubs, or breakfast clubs, but mainly at home.

A break from TV as the days lengthen more so during the week and at weekends once over the initial shock a walk in a park, such is beneficial in many ways.

You can walk, while the children run or play. Seek out activities with organisations wanting to attract you in to woodlands parks, follow your instinct.

If you drive all week, try a bus or a train, the children will enjoy the novelty. Get bus timetables, get train timetables and plan it.)

Follow Facebook and Twitter your local Wildlife Trust every county has one, The Woodland Trust boasts there is one within an hour drive from anywhere.

Parents ultimately need to appreciate and encourage such things. Because it will be their world one day.
